Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analytics Consultant/Advanced Analytics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business consulting and data analytics, with experience in leading advanced analytics projects and working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics projects, including customer segmentation, optimization, and recommendations to solve business problems.
- Work closely with management to execute analytical initiatives and solve business problems by leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, and advanced analytics.
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and formulate end-to-end analysis, including data gathering, analysis, and presentation of findings.
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
- Establish and maintain effective performance tracking, identify improvement opportunities, and propose, design, and implement tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization.
- Manage multiple priorities and communicate business performance and project progress to management and business partners.
- Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.
- Facilitate implementation of work product and ensure accuracy.
- Consistently follow standard work processes and documentation requirements, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work.
- Improve technical and leadership skills through training and development.
- 6-10 years of professional work experience, with at least 5 years in leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, and advanced analytics.
- Experience working with large data sets, preferably with an emphasis on business analysis problems.
- Experience of working with offshore teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field, MBA preferred.
- Ability to engage with executive/VP level stakeholders from client's team to translate business problems to high-level analytics solution approach.
- Strong project management and team management skills, and ability to work with global teams.
- Strong SQL skills and excellent knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau.
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus.
