Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Technologist III to join our team in the Chemistry Lab at Sibley Memorial Hospital. As a Medical Technologist III, you will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established standards and procedures with minimal supervision. You will have a working knowledge of equipment, processing of specimens, test results, and time constraints of tests in your assigned area.

Requirements
  • A formal educational background in biology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, and microbiology, normally acquired through completion of a four-year post-secondary school program in clinical laboratory technology
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, with a verified/recognized certification
  • Completion of clinical rotation during final year of bachelor's degree program or equivalent clinical lab experience or course work specific to the discipline
