We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in promoting optimum mental health and well-being for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Counsel individuals and groups to address mental health concerns, including addiction, stress management, and self-esteem issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
- Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition and maintain confidentiality of records.
- Monitor and record client progress, preparing and maintaining all required treatment records and reports.
To qualify for this role, you must be a licensed Behavioral Health Counselor. A Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience.
Additional qualifications may include certification or licensure, depending on the position.
