PACU Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Swedish Medical Center. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct the care of post-surgical/post-procedural patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS & PALS Certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience required. PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care or ED experience preferred.
