Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, collecting clinical data, and diagnosing medical conditions. They will also be responsible for administering medications, performing minor surgery, and maintaining accurate patient medical records.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
- Collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical laboratory test results
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform minor surgery
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. They will be required to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
