Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Allied Digestive Health, LLC in Albany, NY.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. This role will involve outpatient and inpatient duties, and the ideal candidate will have strong primary care experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient status and clinical management
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members
- Perform duties accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent patient service skills and display courteousness and respect
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure NY in good standing
- Current DEA certificate
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience in gastroenterology or primary care
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA Laws and safeguards
