Night Shift Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity

Community Care Physicians, the largest independent physician-led multispecialty group in the Capital Region of New York, is seeking a full-time night shift nurse practitioner or physician assistant to expand its Hospitalist Program.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative team at the forefront of integrated inpatient and outpatient care delivery in the Capital Region.
Manage overnight census of 25-35 patients- Closed ICU

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
- At least one year of experience as a physician assistant in ambulatory healthcare.
- Successful completion of and graduation from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to NYSED.
- Current certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
