Position: Fire Protection Engineer

Role Overview:
  • Execute fire suppression and alarm engineering calculations, including hydraulic and intelligibility assessments.
  • Perform reviews of life safety codes.
  • Develop construction documents, detailed drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with specialists and integrate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Assess existing systems for renovation initiatives.
  • Work alongside manufacturer representatives to identify effective solutions.
  • Prepare design deliverables throughout various project phases.
  • Oversee project construction administration responsibilities.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering.
  • FPE License is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in fire protection engineering design.
  • Proficient in design software, including Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of State and Federal Codes.
  • Experience in designing projects across multiple sectors.
