Job Summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function
  • Maintain and repair existing systems to prevent damage and ensure safety
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and make necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • Current Fire Sprinkler License required
  • 3-5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves; 5+ years' experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, customer service skills, decision-making skills, ability to multitask, and ability to train others required

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasional need to lift over 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights; occasional need to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus
