Position Overview

SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the HR Generalist, the HR Intern plays a vital role in providing comprehensive support across various Human Resources functions, ensuring the seamless operation of the department.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

Our primary aim is to equip students with insights into real-world challenges faced by organizations. This internship provides a unique opportunity to understand business operations and the manufacturing sector, enhancing the intern's resume and marketability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support recruitment efforts using our online platform
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organize and maintain data files
  • Utilize or learn the HRIS for exposure to HR processes
  • Exhibit intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
  • Conduct or learn interviewing techniques
  • Assist in coordinating events to foster company culture
  • Gain hands-on experience in HR departmental functions
  • Support compliance with regulatory programs
  • Provide assistance to various departmental needs
  • Research and present solutions for HR challenges
  • Engage in a fun and educational experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong attention to detail, effective communication across all organizational levels, and proficient organizational and computer skills in MS Word and Excel are essential.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of a high school diploma is required. Candidates must be pursuing a 2 or 4-year degree in Human Resources or Business Management to qualify for the internship program.
