Job Summary:
U Mass Memorial Health is seeking a highly skilled Registration Representative to join our team. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for accurately collecting and entering patient demographic and financial information for all registration types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service skills and knowledge to patients and families.
- Accurately collect and enter patient demographic and financial information for all registration types.
- Routinely use reference material necessary to ensure proper course of action.
- Staff member follows downtime procedures as established.
- Staff routinely and proactively works on downtime work.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Receives on the job training under close supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous clerical and Meditech experience desirable, but not required.
- A good understanding of medical terminology helpful.
