Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department at Millennium Times Square. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and coach a team of housekeeping staff to provide exceptional guest service and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with Highgate Hotel standards.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping expenses to ensure budget compliance.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
