Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dining Operations Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining services, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food quality and service to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of dining services, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
  • Manage a team of cooks, servers, and other dining staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including HACCP and local health department standards.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize supply usage.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas and ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track expenses and revenue.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams and driving results-oriented performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and budgeting processes.
