Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily inspections for both receiving and in-process inspections to ensure compliance with industry specifications.
  • Review completed manufacturing operations to verify adherence to established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to develop and implement an aircraft inspection plan, incorporating CMMs, laser trackers, and other inspection tools.
  • Support the planning and execution of company inspections in support of FAA conformity inspection and certification processes.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques, such as PFMEAs, control plans, and SPC.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or College degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of inspection experience, with at least 1 year focused on CMM operation.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and experience with tolerance and drawing reviews.
  • Experience completing first-article inspections and working with MES systems, such as SAP.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with common machine shop gaging techniques and CMM machines.
