Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Department of Defense security support for customers at the Naval Sea Systems Command.
  • Conduct inspections and investigations, collect and analyze information, and weigh the impact of variables to resolve security questions and issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and implement security plans and procedures to protect sensitive information and personnel.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential security threats.

Requirements:

  • Experience with US Navy programs or operations is preferred.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface, including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
  • Ability to travel reasonable distances to meet with customers or other company personnel.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders, and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
