Job Summary
Tech Marine Business is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to provide support to a Naval Program Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information and personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Department of Defense security support for customers at the Naval Sea Systems Command.
- Conduct inspections and investigations, collect and analyze information, and weigh the impact of variables to resolve security questions and issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.
- Develop and implement security plans and procedures to protect sensitive information and personnel.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential security threats.
Requirements:
- Experience with US Navy programs or operations is preferred.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface, including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
- Ability to travel reasonable distances to meet with customers or other company personnel.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders, and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
