Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Health First. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

About the Role:

This is a per diem opportunity that offers flexibility and variety in your schedule. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory standards and Health First policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintenance.
  • Certifications as required by specific unit.
  • Ability to speak and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Health First offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, often with stressful situations and critical decision-making. You must be able to concentrate on multiple priority activities, respond appropriately to life-threatening situations, and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
