Job Title: Senior Patient Care Manager - Nursing

About the Role:

The Clinical Charge Nurse BSN at Health First assumes a leadership position in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring exceptional customer service, and promoting a culture of stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Demonstrates expertise in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Staff Development: Participates in the selection, development, and retention of nursing staff, fostering a healthy work environment.
  • Patient Safety: Identifies and addresses safety concerns, leading shift huddles and facilitating interdisciplinary care transition rounds.
  • Medication Management: Ensures effective medication administration, delegation, and supervision of patient care activities.
  • Compliance and Performance: Monitors department service standards, optimizes resources, and manages unit productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current State of Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Completion Card and maintain other required certifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Ability to speak/understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Unit-Specific Requirements: Familiarity with unit-specific care requirements.
  • Physical Demands: Physically agile, requiring walking, standing, running, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $70,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
