Job Summary:

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes. Your expertise will be essential in delivering preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative respiratory care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in their homes, utilizing AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and make recommendations to physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, including procedures and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program or equivalent.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by AdaptHealth.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • CPR certification.
