Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls.

The Role
This role involves safely operating over head cranes, straddle cranes and climbing ladders. You will also set up and level unit bases using laser levels, install perimeter angles, reconnect units, verify correct components and fill out JRM books.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of residential or commercial construction experience required.
- Read and write English.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred.
- Knowledge of company safety policies.
- Able to read Tape measure.
- Must have good problem solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
