Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at DA Collins Companies. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects by evaluating and analyzing plans, reviewing shop drawing submittals, and tracking quantities of work in place.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or environmental engineering, and 1-3 years' experience / internships / co-ops in a heavy civil environment. They will also be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and possess proficient computer skills.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Evaluate and analyze construction plans to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Review shop drawing submittals to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Measure and track quantities of work in place to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.
  • Solve moderately complex problems that may arise during project execution.
  • Maintain organized project records, including documentation and reporting.


Compensation:
Competitive salary range: $53,600-$90,000 (Southern Tier: $58,960-$99,000)
