Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at the Alaska Regional Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in Labor and Delivery to work in a Level II NICU with onsite pediatric hospitalists.

Job Details

The ideal candidate will have OR circulator experience, labor and delivery experience, and be proficient in performing SVE and placing IUPC and FSE. As a stork nurse, you will be responsible for transitioning baby at delivery. The typical procedures performed on the unit include induction, C-Section, vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation, triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, and IUFD care.

Requirements
  • Must have OR circulator experience
  • Must have Labor and delivery experience
  • Ability to perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE
  • Stork nurse responsibilities include transitioning baby at delivery
Schedule Information

This position requires a Night Shift schedule with 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule and 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits and a flexible schedule.

Our hospital has policies in place including no elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols, and more.
