Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant role is essential for ensuring the efficient execution of accounting functions in alignment with established policies and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The primary objectives include:

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Regulatory Requirements:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
  2. Skills:
    • 1-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger management, tax preparation, and financial statement generation, ideally within a healthcare context.
    • Proficient in data monitoring and collection to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and internal controls.
    • Experience with financial software applications, including accounting and billing systems, as well as proficiency in spreadsheets and databases for analytical reporting.
  3. Professional Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly to various levels of management.
