Key Responsibilities- Serving the Membership: Process member transactions, provide product and service information, and support multiple call queues.
- Communication: Communicate with members using electronic correspondence and provide clear and concise information.
- Project Support: Assist the department with completing projects and reports, and provide suggestions for streamlining department and credit union operations.
- Training and Development: Assist with the training of new and existing team members and serve as a role model.
- Quality Control: Deliver world-class personal member service professionally and efficiently, while contributing to department goals on quality control and contact center service objectives.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of credit union and member records.
- File Maintenance: Perform various file maintenance tasks, including processing requests for a change of address, check orders, and ordering ATM cards.
- Product Knowledge: Inform members of credit union promotions and/or new products and services, and provide consultative services to members regarding credit union products and services.
- Problem-Solving: Perform advanced research on accounts and identify and correct member account problems.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of previous related experience required.
- Communication: Concentrate on the caller, listen without interrupting, ask questions to clarify and verify information, and recap transactions to ensure understanding.
- Problem-Solving: Identify essential information, enter information quickly, display expected levels of accuracy, summarize transactions clearly and concisely, and use correct terminology.
