Position Overview:
As a member of the Technical Resources Branch within the Consolidated Business Services Section, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various divisions within the organization related to Architect-Engineer and Professional Services contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a Product Delivery Team and the Contracting Division to conduct comprehensive cost and price analyses, facilitating negotiations for task orders and modifications.
- Provide consultation and assistance to senior management in the development, coordination, maintenance, and execution of initiatives aligned with ISO9001 standards.
- Analyze design and engineering specifications to gain insights into projects and activities, aiding in the creation of necessary documentation.
- Oversee and evaluate monthly status reports while managing payment processing efficiently.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and meet the educational or experiential requirements outlined below:
Minimum Qualifications GS-07:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience that includes:
1.) Proficiently creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, utilizing advanced Excel formulas, and
2.) Applying foundational principles and methodologies related to the regulations and procedures for procuring Architect/Engineer and professional services contracts and task orders.
OR Education:
One full year of graduate-level education in a relevant field, such as accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, or organizational management.
OR Superior Academic Achievement:
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement, which must be in a qualifying curriculum.
OR Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be utilized to qualify for this position, provided the computed percentage of the requirements meets or exceeds 100%.
Minimum Qualifications GS-09:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience that includes:
1.) Utilizing various databases to maintain accurate records of architect/engineering and professional service contracts and task orders;
2.) Coordinating with Project Managers and technical support staff regarding contracts and funding requirements;
3.) Manipulating and updating data fields within project software, spreadsheets, and databases across multiple projects, funding accounts, task orders, and contractors.
OR Education:
A Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a relevant field.
OR Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be utilized to qualify for this position, provided the computed percentage of the requirements meets or exceeds 100%.
