Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relay Settings Engineer to join our team at Qualus Services. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and coordinating protective relaying and relay control schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and specify protective relaying and relay control schemes for major utility substations.
  • Model and analyze short circuit and overstressed breaker studies to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to support the objectives of the Engineering Department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
  • Present technical solutions to key customers and respond to technical concerns in a knowledgeable and articulate manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a power systems focus.
  • Experience in protection and control engineering and relay settings.
  • Experience using ASPEN or CAPE.
  • Professional Engineering registration or plan to become registered.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
