Job Summary:

The Secondary School Counselor Coach plays a vital role in supporting the development of effective school counselors to maximize student success. This position ensures that school counselors are equipped to provide each student with an individualized and equitable academic trajectory, leading to increased graduation rates, college enrollment, and successful workforce entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of effective school counselors to maximize student success
• Support new and experienced counselors to ensure students receive a high-quality sequence of rigorous coursework
• Ensure school counselors are developed and supported to provide each student with an individualized and equitable academic trajectory

Requirements:

• Master's degree in counseling or related field required
• Three (3) years' experience in effective secondary classroom teaching or counseling
• Obtain or the ability to obtain an Oklahoma school counselor certification
• Knowledge of the American School Counselors Association Framework
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
