We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the manufacturing sector, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience. A confident individual with industry-specific expertise is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and evaluate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee cash flow management and treasury operations.
- Manage investment portfolios and provide recommendations for maximizing returns.
- Ensure the preparation of financial statements adheres to IFRS standards.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Administer accounts receivable and collections processes.
- Offer guidance and support to finance team members.
- Collaborate with various departments to achieve financial objectives.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master's degree is a plus).
- Demonstrated experience as a Finance Manager or in a comparable role.
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting, treasury management, investment management, public accounting, fiscal management, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, financial management, and cost accounting.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex financial data.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
