Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Account Specialist to join our team at CarMax Auto Finance. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for resolving customer issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

You will work with customers to understand their financial situations and provide guidance on payment options and account management. You will also educate customers on finance charges, late fees, and credit reporting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work with various departments and teams to resolve customer issues and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolving customer issues and concerns via phone and email
  • Providing education on payment options and account management
  • Annotating accounts in inter-company systems to document all interactions
  • Working with other departments/personnel to resolve customer concerns

Requirements

  • High school diploma or 1 month related experience/training
  • Basic to moderate computer knowledge and keyboard skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-energy standard office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
