About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Cataloguing and Historical Context department as part of our ongoing transformation and growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of cataloging and research professionals in the acquisition, organization, and preservation of historical documents and records.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the digitization and online accessibility of our collections, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with international partners, memorials, archives, and research institutions to advance our mission and expand our collections.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to researchers, educators, and the general public in the use of our collections and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cataloging, research, and digital transformation, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the department.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in cataloging, research, and digital transformation, preferably in a similar role or industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of cataloging standards, digital preservation, and research methodologies.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
