Family Services Manager

At Paladin, Inc. - Head Start of LaPorte County, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance) functions within our Head Start program.
Key Responsibilities:- ERSEA Management: Develop and implement strategic plans for ERSEA to ensure effective recruitment, enrollment, and retention of eligible families.
- Eligibility Determination: Oversee the eligibility determination and enrollment processes to ensure compliance with Head Start performance standards and regulations.
- Attendance Monitoring: Monitor attendance records and implement strategies to address attendance issues.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and support ERSEA staff, including providing training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance parent, family, and community engagement in alignment with Head Start's PFCE framework.
- Family Support: Build strong, supportive relationships with families to promote active participation in their child's education and overall program activities.
- Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance program services and resources.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, education, public administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Head Start or early childhood education program.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Head Start performance standards and federal, state, and local regulations; excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
