Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IMC Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and implement and evaluate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results.
- Consult with other departments as needed to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and coordinate patient care as necessary.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Able to recognize cardiac rhythms - preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - required within 90 days of hire
