Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our team as an Independent Contractor. As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting blood and urine samples for insurance clients, obtaining manual physical measurements, and documenting health histories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood and urine samples for insurance clients and specialty draws, labeling all specimens accurately and centrifuging blood
  • Obtain manual physical measurements and document health histories
  • Ship specimens via FedEx from your residence or authorized FedEx stores
  • Call clients to schedule and confirm insurance exams and specialty blood draws on a daily basis
  • Have a printer/scanner to print and upload paperwork, as well as an internet computer to update status notes and scheduled appointments in our portal
Requirements:
  • Pass a urine drug screen and background check
  • Proven experience as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with ability to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home and reimbursement for mileage over 35 miles at $0.65 per mile

This is a flexible opportunity with good pay and the ability to set your own schedule. Training is provided, and you will have access to necessary equipment such as a BP cuff, scale, tape measure, clipboard, and centrifuge. Pay for completed services ranges from $24.00 to $45.00 depending on the service.
