The nature of this position requires a high degree of independence, with guidance provided only for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide centralized financial support for budgeting and reporting related to field-based compensation within the U.S. Commercial sector.
  • Manage the calculation and reporting of monthly commission expenses, including the maintenance of rates and agreements within the commission system.
  • Address inquiries regarding commission calculations and payments, as well as review contracts for any compensation modifications.
  • Assist in the development of the management financial reporting package and participate in various monthly management evaluations.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on monthly revenue forecasts, aiding in the consolidation of deliverables and reconciling outputs with finance and sales operations.
  • Analyze monthly reports on revenue and operating expenses in relation to the operating plan and forecasts, communicating opportunities and gaps in the P&L with business partners.
  • Support the modeling of business cases and maintain financial tracking mechanisms for approved investments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and legal protocols, assisting with external auditor requests during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including the preparation of schedules and gathering necessary documentation.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage substantial data, multiple priorities, and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear messages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mastery of other PC applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and commission calculation tools.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Background in a Sarbanes-Oxley control environment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial management, business planning and analysis, or public accounting.
  • CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is a plus.
  • MBA or a Post Graduate Degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • Moderate experience in financial modeling.
