Position Overview:
As a Financial Wellness Education Leader at PEFCU, you will take charge of our financial education initiatives aimed at enhancing the financial literacy and well-being of our members and the broader community. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging workshops, managing our online education platform, and leading efforts to assess the impact of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement tailored financial education programs to meet the diverse needs of our members and community groups.
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual workshops on essential financial topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management.
  • Oversee the credit union's online financial education platform, ensuring it remains user-friendly and engaging.
  • Analyze data related to financial education initiatives, including participation rates and member feedback.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting achievements and recommendations for future programs.
  • Create high-quality financial education content across various formats, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment with the credit union's branding and outreach strategies.
  • Build strong relationships within the community to foster trust and encourage participation in educational programs.
  • Establish partnerships with local schools and organizations to expand the reach of our financial education efforts.
  • Stay updated on financial literacy tools and trends to ensure our programs remain current and effective.
  • Monitor and assess the overall effectiveness of the financial education program through reporting and feedback.
  • Develop and manage incentive programs to encourage engagement with the educational platform.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in creating and managing financial education programs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast for training purposes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly.
  • A passion for enhancing financial literacy among program participants.
  • A strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management.
  • Experience in designing and delivering engaging educational content.
