About the Role

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technology roadmaps for IT support and cybersecurity, leading strategic initiatives, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Technology Roadmaps: Create and implement technology roadmaps for IT support and cybersecurity, taking into account organizational monitoring capabilities and suggesting program initiatives to enhance O&M and cyber monitoring.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Lead the organization's strategic, imperative, and goals for programs, tracking, monitoring, and gathering program technical operational capabilities and developing requirements for program engineering groups.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work independently to identify key technical points of contact within programs, synthesize operational needs based on strategic goals of the organization, and track requirements with points of contact in program engineering groups.
  • Monitor and Provide Guidance: Monitor and provide guidance to implementing organizations, identifying when requirements are not meeting or going to meet program expectations (cost, schedule, scope), and taking action to eliminate roadblocks.
  • Test IT Operations Capabilities: Test IT operations capabilities, offer technology improvement recommendations, and create and communicate group-level communications.
Qualifications
  • Education: Must possess a degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience: Must have analytical and conceptual skills, ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects, and experience with activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, and modern business methods and performance measurements techniques.
  • Skills: Must have strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills, complex problem-solving skills, and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.

  • Desired Experience: Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs, and apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
