Key Responsibilities

- Streamline daily routes and operations based on branch and fleet demands alongside available customer order data.

- Confirm that all drivers receive appropriate training in line with MedTrans standards.

- Guarantee that all vehicles are maintained in accordance with the MedTrans vehicle upkeep policy.

- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage driver performance. Conduct regular meetings with drivers as mandated by DOT and/or company guidelines.

- Supervise daily activities of team members. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical support on complex issues.

Required Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Proven experience in managing and dispatching drivers, with proficiency in routing software.

- Minimum of 2 years in coaching, mentoring, and training personnel.

- Intermediate understanding of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours daily.
