We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated attorney who can handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures, as well as outstanding research and written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will join one of our trial teams and will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office.

We provide a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff. Our office is located in Jericho, NY, and we enjoy an active and busy civil trial practice.

Qualifications
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the New York state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
  • Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience)
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
