Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our team at State Farm. As a member of our trial team, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures. You will also need to possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

The selected candidate will be based in Jericho, NY, and will work in a congenial, team-oriented, and professional environment with skilled support staff. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school, be an active member of the New York state bar, and have 1-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation/trial. You will also need to be able to work in a paperless environment and have experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling.
