Rental Sales Coordinator

This role is responsible for coordinating the rental sales/support services, communication, and information flow of the branch equipment rental fleet. The Rental Coordinator will be the primary contact for all customers, salesmen, and other company personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine customer rental needs and handle all corresponding rental reservations.

- Be the primary contact for all customers, salesmen, and other company personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of experience in customer service, preferred experience in the heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry.
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office proficiency required.
- Must understand and be able to effectively explain the company's LDW policy.
- Must understand and be able to effectively communicate equipment applications and key performance specifications.
- Understands usage and applications of all rental equipment and services offered.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of common equipment failure problems and how to resolve them.
- Must recognize the difference between similar products and the advantages/disadvantages of applications.
- Must have working knowledge of construction phases to properly advise applications.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

This role requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
