We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Labor Relations to join our team at Keurig Dr Pepper. As a Director of Labor Relations, you will play a critical role in shaping our labor relations strategy and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Negotiations: Serve as the primary spokesperson for our operating units in contract negotiations with unions, primarily the Teamsters.
  2. Strategy Development: Collaborate with local management, HR, and senior leadership to develop negotiation strategies and proposals, taking into account feasibility, cost, operational impact, and industry trends.
  3. Contract Language: Draft clear and unambiguous contract language and proposals to ensure consistency with corporate policies and practices.
  4. Labor Relations Administration: Advise local HR managers and management personnel on administering contracts and labor relations policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, organization policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
  5. Union Organizing: Independently manage and direct responses to union organizing activity, including training management personnel, interfacing with unions and the NLRB, and handling objections and ULP charges.
  6. Positive Employee Relations: Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive positive employee relations strategy.
  7. Grievances and Arbitrations: Assume first-chair responsibility for late-step grievances and labor arbitrations.
  8. Policy Implementation: Coordinate with in-house legal counsel, payroll, EHS, and benefits specialists on implementing policies and procedures in union locations.
  9. Research and Analysis: Independently research and respond to complex labor relations issues in a timely and client-focused environment.
  10. Labor Laws and Regulations: Possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws and regulations, including the NLRA, FLSA, Title VII, ADA, and FMLA.
  11. Travel: Travel approximately 50% of the time.
  12. Keurig Dr Pepper Policies: Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
