Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at The Bradbury Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using computer-aided design software and analysis packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to develop mechanical designs and drafting that meet manufacturing methods.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies that meet safety, economy, and ease of fabrication and operation standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel and other department employees to clarify or resolve problems.
  • Requisition long lead items with respect to lead times.
  • Analyze problems that may arise during the manufacturing process and recommend solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-3 years of mechanical design experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCad and Inventor software.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematics and mechanical and machine design concepts.
