The Role of a Pet Care Specialist
As a Pet Care Specialist at CityVet, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and grooming of all animals entrusted to our care. Your position is crucial in addressing the physical and emotional needs of our patients, with a focus on animal bathing and hygiene.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to waist height
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 18 at the time of employment
- Engagement in physical activities such as standing, bending, walking, and lifting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide animals with appropriate housing, bathing, social interaction, and mental enrichment
- Observe health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to supervisors
- Maintain precise patient records and monitor vital signs
