Funciones y Responsabilidades del Trabajo
El rol de Especialista en Cumplimiento SOX Senior Staff será multifuncional a través de varios procesos empresariales y funciones de apoyo. Se requiere que traigas tu curiosidad, mejores prácticas, sentido de innovación y demuestres tu voluntad y capacidad para aprender cosas nuevas.
En este puesto, asistirás al Gerente de Cumplimiento SOX en la búsqueda del equilibrio entre la optimización operativa y los controles SOX mientras trabajas con los equipos correspondientes.
Responsabilidades Clave:
- Apoyar a los Propietarios de Control de Procesos Empresariales en la preparación de toda la información esencial para la comprensión y evaluación de los controles internos, incluyendo Matriz de Riesgos y Controles, descripciones narrativas y/o diagramas de flujo de procesos.
- Realizar el mapeo de controles y el alcance de SOX.
- Realizar recorridos y asistir a los equipos de Contabilidad y Negocios/Operaciones con el diseño e implementación de procesos y controles internos.
- Documentar nuevos controles y actualizar la Matriz de Riesgos y Controles.
- Identificar y comunicar a los equipos de Contabilidad y Negocios/Operaciones las observaciones y recomendaciones para la mejora de procesos y controles internos.
- Coordinar con auditorías internas y externas en apoyo a sus pruebas, recorridos, revisión de procesos y auditorías.
- Colaborar con Contabilidad Técnica para considerar la necesidad de diseñar e implementar nuevos controles en respuesta a la implementación de nuevos sistemas/aplicaciones y nuevos estándares/políticas contables.
- Apoyar la revisión trimestral de segregación de deberes y revisión de entradas manuales de diario.
- Trabajar con los propietarios de controles para recomendar e implementar estrategias de remediación.
- Mantener las mejores prácticas para la supervisión de proveedores de servicios externalizados y sus políticas y procedimientos de cumplimiento SOX.
- Actuar como la persona de referencia para SOX en proyectos especiales y otras necesidades de Contabilidad, Impuestos y Finanzas.
- Apoyar el Cumplimiento SOX de TI en el análisis de Informes SOC-1 (para el mapeo de controles internos).
Habilidades, Experiencia y Requisitos
Educación y Experiencia:
- Título universitario en Contabilidad, Finanzas o similar.
- CPA o certificación equivalente (o en espera de licencia).
- CIA o certificación equivalente en auditorías (o en espera de licencia).
- 3 años de experiencia en auditorías/cumplimiento SOX.
- 2 años de experiencia trabajando en documentación de controles internos/procesos.
- 2 años de experiencia en firmas de contabilidad pública.
- 2 años de experiencia utilizando marcos COSO.
- Experiencia en auditoría/construcción de procesos/trabajo en documentación de controles.
Habilidades y Cualificaciones:
- Amplio conocimiento de SOX, COSO y procesos empresariales (por experiencia).
- Comprensión de los controles de procesos empresariales.
- Liderar recorridos de controles de procesos empresariales y preparar la documentación necesaria.
- Capacidades de análisis de riesgos/evaluación de riesgos.
- Comprensión del Alcance y Mapeo de SOX.
- Comprensión de la Matriz de Riesgos y Controles.
- Comprensión de US GAAP (comprensión de SEC y PCAOB - puntos extra).
- Coordinación con Auditoría Interna y Auditoría Externa.
- Dominio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y Visio.
- Experiencia con aplicaciones de Reporte Financiero, por ejemplo, Oracle, SAP y Hyperion.
