Tetra Tech is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Director of Construction Management. This key role is responsible for overseeing the construction of linear projects and renewable energy initiatives, including gas, biological, wind, and solar projects. The successful candidate will also provide support to the Operations Manager in managing routine office and project functions, such as financial management, staffing, employee development, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure construction plans meet code requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure work sites are safe and clean, meeting all health and safety codes, environmental regulations, and building codes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or a related field.
  • 20+ years of experience in construction and engineering project lifecycle management, with a focus on natural gas facilities, pipeline construction, remediation, and renewable energy projects.
  • Contractors Board License and Remediation Specialist License preferred.
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher training preferred.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in delivering technical and business presentations.
  • Proven track record of successfully directing and supervising subcontractors.
  • Successful past performance in bringing in and executing profitable assignments for clients and building key target client accounts.
