Job Title: Toolshop Machinist

Reports To: Tooling Manager

Location: Tanner, Alabama

Job Overview:

The Toolshop Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality tool paths from models to support with CNC equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate tool paths from models for manufacturing and repairing tooling
• Manage the machining area's cutting tool and consumable needs
• Schedule CNC work on the machines to ensure efficient production
• Maintain up-to-date CNC programs and revisions
• Operate CNC machinery to produce and repair tooling as needed
• Assist with drawing changes and revisions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining
• Proficiency in CAM software and CAD design
• Experience with 5-axis machining and post processors
• Hypermill experience a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SAP skills a plus
