Toolshop Machinist

At Bocar US, we are seeking a skilled Toolshop Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality tool paths from model to support using CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and efficient tool paths from model for manufacturing and repairing tooling
• Manage the machining area's cutting tool and consumable needs to ensure optimal performance
• Schedule CNC work on the machines to meet production deadlines
• Maintain up-to-date CNC programs and ensure current revisions are loaded and run by CNC technicians
• Operate CNC machinery to produce and repair tooling as needed
• Assist in drawing changes and provide technical support as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming
• 5+ years of experience in CAM software
• CAD software proficiency is a plus
• Must have 5-axis experience and knowledge of post processors
• Hypermill experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create effective strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SAP skills are a plus
