Toolshop Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Toolshop Machinist to join our team at Bocar US, Inc. in Tanner, Alabama. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality tool paths from model to support using CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain tool paths for manufacturing and repairing tooling
• Manage the machining area's cutting tool and consumable needs
• Schedule CNC work on the machines and ensure timely completion
• Collaborate with the CNC technicians to load and run programs of the current version
• Operate CNC machinery to produce and repair tooling as needed
• Assist in drawing changes and updates

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming
• 5+ years of experience in CAM software
• CAD software proficiency is a plus
• Experience with 5-axis machining and post processors is required
• Hypermill experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create effective strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SAP skills are a plus
