Research Associate I

Kaiser Permanente seeks a highly skilled Research Associate I to coordinate small-scale projects, working under general supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:Recruit participants, develop information packets, and monitor participant progress throughout the project.Assist in the development of research instruments, edit and manipulate data, and perform basic statistical analyses.Train research assistants, maintain project records, and review literature related to the research project.Conduct in-person or telephone interviews, ensure data quality assurance, and coordinate small-scale research projects.
Requirements:
This is a one-year contract position, contingent upon contract/grant funding. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a related field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic knowledge of computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in public health, health care administration, epidemiology, or a related field.Four years of experience in a directly related field.
