Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance and repair of commercial landscape vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on commercial landscape equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, utilizing your knowledge of small engine and two-cycle engine repair.
  • Effectively communicate shop needs and concerns with management personnel.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and safety policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state where employed, with a record in good standing.
  • Knowledge of mowing and landscape equipment, as well as small engine and two-cycle engine repair.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.
