About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Support Specialist to join our team at On My Own, Inc.

As a member of our Supportive Living Services team, you will play a critical role in empowering adults with intellectual disabilities to exercise their civil and human rights and integrate fully into mainstream society.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and be able to work effectively with individuals who use American Sign Language (ASL).

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide daily note tracking and support services to clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
